STORAGE UNITS

Storage is essential when working with people in transition.

What happens to client's belongings when they go to jail or prison? Where does someone who is experiencing homelessness store their most valuable items? Providing a safe place for someone's belongings can be the final reason that individual decides to try long term treatment for substance use disorders.

Storage may not seem like much. But it is a vital beginning to building trust. If they trust us to hold their possessions & keep them safe, they have a reason to return to us. And to believe can meet them where they're at.

Recidivism is a symptom of so many challenges  - homelessness, addiction, unemployment, mental health issues, physical ailments, rising costs - that they can only be addressed to in layers. To be trusted with someone's substance abuse healing may begin with proving they have a safe space with us.

Our long term goal is to raise $ 20,000 to build two new units, so we can forgo the current annual rental fees and have a permanent place to welcome people into our services.

it's where you find light when all grows dark."
